现实中的Client state.png自定义附庸(英文:Client state)是指一个在国际事务中,在经济层面,政治层面或军事层面上从属于另一个强国的国家。在游戏里,自定义附庸旨在模仿拿破仑时期法兰西共和国在邻国建立的一系列共和国,是为“姊妹共和国(英文:Sister republic)”。因此,玩家们有权创建自定义附庸来辅佐他们的征服大业。自定义附庸比其它附庸国更忠诚,其独立倾向-25。君主制自定义附庸从自定义开始便有着最大值的 Legitimacy.png 正统性,共和制自定义附庸则拥有最大值的 Republican tradition.png 共和传统。

您每次只能拥有至多10个自定义附庸。

Creating a client state

任何一个Diplomatic tech.png外交科技达到23级,有多于一块地的国家即可创建一个自定义附庸。该省需与母国首都在陆地上直接连接或与其在一个大洲上,无论是核心还是非核心皆可。创建自定义附庸的方法为:点击一块地,然后找到自定义附庸的按钮。

第一个划给自定义附庸的省份将成为该国的首都。当创建一个自定义附庸时,它的政府,名字,地图上的颜色,和纹章都需选择。附庸的名字默认为创建的省份的名字,但也可以在输入框中输入一个自定义名。宗主国可以决定附庸的政体。当选择了创建自定义附庸之后,一个类似自定义国家的界面会出现,以自定义新附庸的颜色、纹章等等。新附庸将以两倍于他们每年增加的威望点数和最大需要Administrative power.png 18, Diplomatic power.png 18, Military power.png 18 的666君主开局。

只有与该附庸领土直接相邻的省份才能被划给该附庸,但相隔海峡的省份也可添加,比如科西嘉和撒丁岛就可以成为同一个附庸的土地。但群岛省份则不能划给一个已存在的附庸,而只能成立为单独的附庸,比方说博恩霍尔姆岛就不能划给一个斯堪的纳维亚上的自定义附庸。

如果自定义附庸的政体是君主制,宗主可以选择是指派一个本家族内或是地方的贵族出任君主。无论如何,自定义附庸都会以宗主的宗教和文化开局。利用自定义附庸控制一些与本国文化和宗教不相容的领土可以有效地避免各种动乱的出现,而且附庸还可进一步减小叛乱度。

Once created, a client state behaves just like a vassal and is able to become a March icon.png march. However, there is a maximum limit of 10 client states per nation. The ruler name for the client state is chosen from its culture as opposed to the dynasty of its overlord.

自定义附庸也可被指定为卫戍国。然而一国最多只能建立10个自定义附庸。

策略

Since provinces owned by client states do not contribute to their overlord's Overextension.png overextension, they are a handy way to speed up expansion. By distributing newly acquired provinces to client states, the overlord can take far larger territories with a single bite, and annex them when the client states are done coring them.

Client states that share the culture of the provinces they rule avoid penalties to income and unrest for unaccepted cultures. If they share the religion of their overlord, they can handle the burden of converting their provinces, though they may not be able to if they don't take the Religious idea group and control provinces with high development.

When choosing which province the client state to make the capital, it's best to choose the province with the highest development, since the new client state will gain a free full core on that province and will not suffer overextension from that province. Although client states will not accept additional provinces that would put it over 100% Overextension.png overextension through the subject interaction tab, the player can manually give more provinces to the client state by clicking on the 'Create Client State' button a province adjacent to the existing client state and choosing the option to assign it to the existing client state.

It's also advisable to enable scutage on client states so that they are not called into wars and so can be annexed even if the overlord is at war.

Tags

The tags of created client states will start out as 'K00', followed by 'K01', 'K02' and so on.
